For the tracks on this page, basically me, plus:
- Andy Organ at Lo-Tek, who produced my two recent tracks "Searching For Truth" and "Nothing Back";
- my brother Arthur, who played slide guitar and sang backing vocals on those two tracks;
- my good friend Craig (guitarist in Little Fish Big Pond) who wrote the lyrics for "Running In the Rain";
- the talented Doon, who did such a great job singing the vocals on that track;
- Genesis Elijah and his label Broken Souls, who provided the acapella for the "Jah Bless" remix.
Influences
Loads. I listen to tons of stuff that inspires me - classical, rock, pop, acoustic stuff, hip-hop, electronica - if it moves me in any way, I like it.
Sounds Like
I never know how to answer this question. I guess if you like stuff like Zero 7, Turin Brakes, Elbow, Doves, Custom Blue, Gomez and other "downtempo" artists who combine acoustic guitars & vocal harmonies with samples, breaks & synths, then you'll probably like what I do...
Howdo. Welcome to the Mike O'Hara world of music production.
I'm a semi-professional musician & producer, working out of a small (VERY small) studio in Kent.
I work on all kinds of music, both solo and in collabaration with various talented folk, in a pretty wide range of genres.
Most of my solo stuff tends to fall into the "downtempo acoustic/chilled" category, but I rock out on a regular basis, especially when I'm playing bass with my band Little Fish Big Pond.
I'm always looking to collaborate with other musicians and producers - I reckon there's always a danger of disappearing up yer own backside when you try to do everything yourself.

Our new single, Follow You, is released today (04/11/07). It would be great if you could doadload a copy - if in the (unlikely!) event enough people do we can make it into the UK Top 40!
The track costs a mere 77 pence and can be downloaded from www.indiestore.com/sevenscore
