Influences
Michael Jackson (We are the World) and his philanthropy was a great inspiration to Moiko, the founder & CEO of Moiko Records. We wanted to make our primary focus on others, supporting, giving and lifting up others through our music. Berry Gordy and Motown Records was also a great inspiration. Berry Gordy did such a Wonderful Job with Motown, we hope to track his steps straight to the top. Tyler Perry is also an Inspiration to Moiko Records founder in that he put it together with faith and perseverance. You have to really understand what he has done to understand the greatness of Tyler Perry. He didn't go to Hollywood - be brought Hollywood to Tyler Perry. And Atlanta. Moiko has the same concept. We are tired of cookie cutter music and hearing the same 10 artist on the radio forever. We need to hear from other artists, and we are challenging radio stations to allow other artist the opportunity to be heard. If you are a DJ, or Radio Station, we have the artists and the music.
