About me: Well, for starters, the name's Moishe, but I've gone by Moi since about the third grade. I moved to the Lower East Side to help my Uncle Chaim out at his grocery-deli on Grand Street. Yes, I am a college-educated, champion sidewalk sweeper. Haha. On my time off, I work as a proud volunteer ambulance driver for Hatzolah EMS. I am sure you have seen us, or heard us, usually sweeping new Jewish mothers to Beth Israel with our sirens blaring.
No kids yet for me, I'm still on the search for my beshert --my 'fated'-- which, believe me, is something my mother never lets me forget. I can't wait to have a huge family like the one I grew up with in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. But in the meantime I am having a great time learning more about G-d, myself, and our community here on the L.E.S. Sure, the city is changing just it always has but you can still feel the history…and smell the bialys.
