Kind of a die-hard 70 & 80s guy, with a mix of new and old Christian rock and definitely some Weird Al mixed in. My latest find is a group called Apologetix, a Christian parody band that is awesome at matching the original music with some very cool and unique lyrics.
  • Movies

The Indiana Jones series (#4 was OK, but #3 still remains the best of the group), Star Wars and Star Trek, Action/Adventure & Romantic Comedy. A few of my favorite offbeat movies are "So I married an Axe Murder", "Diggstown" and a little known flick starring David Hartman (1970s host of 'Good Morning America') called "Island at the Top of the World." It's corny as all get out, but I still like it.
  • Television

CSI series, NCSI, Survivor, Biggest Loser and some of the new night time game shows. And a good helping of baseball, basketball, football and NASCAR.
  • Books

Read and reviewed the entire Left Behind series. Unfortunately , time for reading is way down the list of priorities these days.
  • Heroes

Never really had any that stood up to the scrutiny, so not much use in listing them here.

About me:

Well, there's a lot to say and many ways to say it. But to put it all in a nutshell, I'm just you're kind of average nice guy trying to get by in the world. I know God's on His throne and in control, and I'm doing a lot better at handling the curve balls when He sends them my way. I'm somewhat eclectic, but a pretty normal guy. I like most sports and if I had the time and money I'd play a lot more golf than I do now. I'm something of a computer geek, but can still communicate with the rest of the "normal" world. I'm a little new to this corner of cyberspace, but hey how can ya learn unless you try it, right? I started this page at the dare/request of a few friends at work and it evolves slowly as I pick up a few new tips and trick here and there.

Who I'd like to meet:

To say there is one kind of woman I'd like to meet would just be stupid, as the exterior is only a temporal thing and the inner person is what really counts. Sure, I'd love find some strikingly beautiful woman, what guy wouldn't? But that is a very small part of who someone is and so I look for more. As Randy Travis once sang, "Time takes it toll on a body, makes a young girls brown hair turn gray. Well honey I don't care, I ain't in love with your hair, and if it all fell out well I'd love you anyway." I'm looking for a woman who is funny, energetic and who has a relationship with God. I'd like to share some interests and hobbies, but basically I'm looking for a woman of character. I believe a woman can be beautiful without being attractive, because attractiveness comes from within. And when all is said and done, that is what will be the foundation of a good relationship.
