The blitz has begun! Formed in Sydney May 2008 by Barton Smith & Adrian Marshall, MOJO BLITZ play music that refuses to be categorized into any one single genre. Instead it is music that is comprised of a variety of influences ranging through rock, funk, eastern music, hip hop, jazz, etc, all tightly wound with punchy & catchy grooves, yet still retaining a commercial and accessible slant.
Their self-produced EP; completed earlier this year, garnered very positive feedback & airplay in the UK and Canada. This prompted the band to go ahead and record their 10 song album, the rough sample mixes of which are available for listening here. They are also in the midst of building their website www.mojoblitz.com from which the album will be available for download.
Mojo Blitz's immediate plans are to find a permanent drummer, secure commmitted & competent managerment and tour the UK sometime next year.
