From Ireland... 'mojoFURY'. The perfect moniker for the feisty, frisky rock of the Lisburn quartet, their devastating sonic attack of bass, guitars and drums annihilating audiences with their loud, yet melodic sound. A four-headed rock beast with a voracious appetite for heavy riffs, pounding drums and thumping bass lines, mojoFURY will chew you up and spit you out, yet make you happy they did so. The tearing rasp of Nirvana is coupled with the tight industrialism of Nine Inch Nails to form a perfectly honed rock animal.
In the live setting, the Neanderthal tendencies come to the fore, mojoFURY serving their audiences blood-raw rock. Their music touches on some pre-programmed, primordial pleasure zones, they go straight for the listener's heart and not always delicately. Nevertheless there are the odd, fragile moments, providing anaesthesia. Then there are the lyrics. They can be unusually sensitive, displaying a sense of empathy not heard since Lou Reed took a walk on the wild side.
To date, the band have toured all over the country and supported the likes of Biffy Clyro, Forward Russia, Hell Is For Heroes and The Cooper Temple Clause. Most recently they completed an Irish tour with Kerrang favourites 'IN CASE OF FIRE'.
mojoFURY have been wowing the population of Northern Ireland for a few years now. Starting out as a 3 piece but since the start of 2008, Mike has been unleashed from behind the drum kit and the band now perform as a 4 piece with Mike dropping his drum sticks for a guitar. This recent line-up re-jig now adds a completely fresh dynamic to the bands music.
Nearing completion the forthcoming debut album threatens to be the most rounded and satisfying recorded encapsulation of mojoFURY to date. Intriguing and also, hopefully, a significant release for mojoFURY, if the fates align just so, then maybe this record will help them take the leap their riotous rock so richly deserves.

As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!
