Formed in January 2006, MojoKelt is a mix of traditional Celtic folk music with rock drums and funk bass.
Building on some of the styles created by Planxty, the Bothy Band and others, Mojo Kelt have created a sound that has not been heard in traditional music since these bands left the scene: Driving melodies and rhythms combined with sensitive and subtle playing.
With a line-up that includes former members of Polydor recording artists "Heritage" MojoKelt has a strong musical pedigree and will continue to develop their sound in the coming months and years. By the way, just so that there's no confusion, we should point out that we don't particularly like myspace, nor do we make changes often and you'll find a lot more going on at our own website
FairplayCollective's Michael Brunnock has teamed up with his old band Little Palace and have just released a single entitled "Eviction" and can be down loaded at www.downloadmusic.ie

Mark Dignam will be traveling to his native Ireland in February, for what truly will be a couple of those great memorable evenings. These gigs will be worth traveling for, that I can guarantee.
Thursday Feb. 5th, 7pm Vicar Street, Dublin, Ireland, with The Swell Season and friends. The gig is a benefit for people with intellectual disabilities and is likely to feature some memorable one-off collaborations.
Sunday Feb. 8th, 8pm Whelans, Dublin, Ireland. This is Mark's headline gig and he will be joined by some very special guests. This is Mark's old stomping ground, and might well be a nostalgia fest...

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I remember the festival of Granvilliers (FR) in september where we were playing together, and I have such good memories of your music.
I'd like to play with Kroazhent (my group playing music from Brittany) in Ireland in 2008, for 3 or 4 gigs. I keep in contact with Daniel from the Rogues, I have a friend in Slygo who can give us one or two gigs. So if you have anyone, it will be a great pleasure for me and all of Kroazhent, to play another time with you.
Hi dear friends ! I've just learnt that we'll play together in a French festival in March 2008 ... so, let's meet there and have some great moments !!! And then, we hope we'll be able to come to play in Ireland ... MartialFFR.
