| MOJO: General Info
|
| Member Since | 8/11/2006 | | Band Members | Adam Reimnitz, tenor: Adam has been a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society for 11 years, starting with the Fremont and Lincoln, Nebraska chapters and has sung in various CSD top 10 district quartets. He currently directs the America the Beautiful Chorus of the Pikes Peak Chapter in Colorado Springs. Adam is also a certified Music category judge and has arranged music for barbershop groups nationwide including "Storm Front", "Brava", "Wheelhouse", Realtime", "MatriX," "The Allies," "The Saltaires Chorus," "The Pathfinder Chorus," and "The Sound of the Rockies" and is a very active coach. Many of the charts performed by Mojo are Adam's. He has also spent time playing drumset in some touring bands. He currently lives in Aurora, CO.
Scott Delude, lead: Barbershop has been a part of Scott's life as far back as he can remember. A 31-year member of the Society, Scott's mother, Millie, earned an International Silver Medal in a quartet called "The Priorities." Scott himself has earned several Rocky Mountain District titles and has competed at International with numerous quartets, including "Denver City Limits," and recently, "Saturday Evening Post," with whom he won a 5th place Bronze Medal in 2004, as well as appearing several times with the Denver "Mile High Chorus" in contest. His nickname around the Society is the "Postman" for his ability to hold inhumanly high notes for long durations. He currently lives in Littleton, CO with his wife Jo, their daughter Paige, and their dogs Rocky and Jazz.
Matt Swann, baritone: Matt has been in barbershop for 10 years. He began in Maryland with a High School quartet and soon joined the "Chorus of the Chesapeake." Away for college in Miami, he discovered the "Miamians Chorus" where he served as an associate director for 3 years and directed them to a 4th place finish in the 2004 Sunshine District Chorus Contest. He also has an International Collegiate Gold medal from 2003 with the Quartet "HEAT," and a (controversial!) 2006 International Chorus Gold Medal with the "Vocal Majority." Matt now sings with the "Sound of the Rockies" chorus, arranges music for various groups, and is a candidate judge in the Music category. He lives in Littleton, CO.
Chris Richards, bass: Chris discovered barbershop while living in Atlanta, singing in several quartets and competing with the Marietta "Big Chicken Chorus" at the 1991 International Chorus Contest. He then moved to Louisville, KY, and sang with an exceptional small chorus in the area called the "Louisville Times" before relocating to Colorado. In 1998, he, along with Scott, formed the quartet "Saturday Evening Post" and went on to win a Rocky Mountain District championship in 1998. Chris competed with the 'Post in two Internationals (1999 and 2000), placing 13th and 11th. He then sang with a quartet called "Boomtown" from the Denver Mile High Chapter that went on to place second in the Rocky Mountain District. A bass section leader of the "Sound of the Rockies" and a candidate judge in the Singing category, Chris lives in Parker, CO with his wife Rebecca, their two sons, Nicholas and Tyler (a family quartet in the making!), and their dogs Sierra and Kona. | | Type of Label | None |
