Muscle Shoals based Mojo Risin’ is dedicated to keeping the Blues and old school R&B and Muscle Shoals soul alive. Formed in the summer of 2009, Mojo Risin’ committed itself to bring the blues of Koko Taylor, Howlin’ Wolf, and Etta James. Fronted by the dynamic and true to the blues vocals of Shirley Rowell, the guitar of T-Bone Brown, and Billy Smart, with Andy Keenum holding down the bottom and Skip Skipworth driving the beat, Mojo Risin’ entertains audiences in a fresh, tight and energetic way. Mojo Risin’ members are all seasoned veterans with professional attitudes and skills.
