Mojo Theory, as Winner of River City 2008 Blues Competition sponsored by the Blues, Jazz and Folk Music Society of Marietta, enjoyed a great time in Memphis, TN Feb 2009. So much music on Beale Street - a must see, again.
Mojo Theory consists of the showmanship and storytelling of vocalist Mark Richards, creative compositions of guitarist David Warnock, anchoring of bassist Curt CJ Justus, power by drummer Todd Mollette, and energy of keyboardist Keith Moore.
Recent appearances include:
* Performed at BB Kings, Beale St, Memphis, TN as semifinalist 2009 IBC Competition.
* Performed 2008 River City Blues Festival with Watermelon Slim, Holmes Brothers, Thornetta Davis, and Sean Carney Band.
* Performed 2008 Arts in the Alley, Grove City, Ohio
* Performed 2008 Jazz & Rib Fest, London, Ohio.
* Performed 2008 Strawberry Festival in London, Ohio.
* Opening show performance for national headliner and 2007 IBC award-winning Sean Carney Band (The Thirsty Ear 2008).
CD of original blues music:
* "Time to Play the Blues" independently released CD in 2007 of original blues music and featured on Internet (Cygnus) and Public radio (WCBE) broadcasts.
