Having recently been released from their unfortunate incarceration, Denis and Mike left a life of crime behind by hooking up with former alter boy and current friend of Peter Friggin' Frampton and starting a band. The name Mojo was selected because it was easier to fit that on a t-shirt than the original suggestion "Mrs. Grundy's Grungie Undies and The Aardvark Surprise From Uranus." The illustrious Mike T joined the band to escape his boring life as a research scientist. So, now they had two guitar, bass and drums...Now they needed somebody to sing. Joe and Martha from the famous Vegas lounge act "Joe and Martha" joined. They all felt that they needed to expand their musical horizons from doing lounge versions on punk rock classics to playing in a bar band.
With all of Greg's connections it wasn't long before the members where appearing at Jimmy Buffett concerts. While they technically weren't performing, they weren't getting arrested either...this was key to their probation.
Mike T took a hiatus when he found less stressful and less dangerous work as a big game hunter. Though when he is in town he has been known to take a risk and make an appearance with the group. He is a fearless individual. Former teen idol and recovering Redskin fan, bc has been playing with the group on lead guitar. For some unknown reason (possible drug related) they have allowed him to play his mandolin as well.
The band's philosophy can be summed up by the words of Edgar C Schmuckatelli who said "Of all the bands I've seen, Mojo was one."
