Molecule - a group of like or different atoms held together by chemical forces.

The band Molecule - a group of like or different musicians held together by sonic forces.

The elements:

Tim Franklin - Vocals, guitar, songwriter - Pure, but powerful vocals, schizophrenic guitar - Runs like a duck - Atomic weight: 58

Dave Dildine - Bass, vocals - Future Doctor of Rock - +5 resistance to heat - Atomic weight: 37

Joe Conley - Guitar - Has a Masters degree in Jazz Performance and a passion for noise - Practices guitar while running on the treadmill - Atomic weight: 42

Chris Exley - Drums - Natick's Most Eligible Bachelor - Thinks drums are hides and tans them regularly - Atomic weight: 82

After recording his debut album "Hold Still"(visit www.timfranklin.net for more info), Tim performed as a solo act surprisingly under the name Tim Franklin. The music was sounding great, but Tim felt he needed to pursue his life long goal of being a founder. So he founded Molecule and now you've found them too.

Our PR guy might put it this way:

"Molecule is a rock band that is built on the engaging songs of Tim Franklin. The music may be best defined as "twisted pop"; songs that weave catchy, recognizable themes with more daring and experimental turns that challenge the listener within a musically seductive framework. However, it's the lyrics that really make Molecule unique. Some songs take conventional subjects such as relationships and death and explore them in a new light using unorthodox contects. Other songs put intimate personal experiences under the microscope with brutal and revealing honesty. Like the music, the more experimental lyrics are expertly fit into a pop structure that the listener can not help but appreciate and enjoy."
