I'm not a jock or a prep, never have been never will be, but I respect them and think a lot higher of them than I do of people who try to stand out and be "individuals". People who realise that not everyone is exactly the same, and they exaggerate anything different about them and use it as an excuse to get special privileges.
I was one of those kids who my teachers would say "oh he has ADHD he can do whatever he wants" or "he's 'special'" I never bought that shit. I don't have Aspergers, I just think that social customs today are ridiculously vague and hard to interpret. I never had ADHD, but I was a stupid little kid who craved attention at one point. I'm not bipolar, but I used to get pissed off at the littlest things and be extremely violent about them.
No, I never had any psychological illnesses, I was just stupid. Now, I'm far from who I used to be.
