Molella begins his career at 14 years old making audio tapes for his friends.
After one year he was the speaker of a little radio. In 1986 he begins to work for Radio Deejay as sound engineer, in front of the mic there was Gerry Scotti and Amadeus. After some months he made his first MEGAMIX. After one year he began to work with Lorenzo Cherubini (aka Jovanotti): the radio show was the lucky "1-2-3 CASINO" the collaboration with Jovanotti continued with a tour and a TV show.
His second radio show was the "Deejay Time", but his must successful show was the "Do Re Mix" , which was also the name of musical software (Magix).
In 1996 he published is first album "Originale Musicale Radicale".
Some of his famous productions are: GALA (4 milion of records), "If You Wanna Party" ft. THE OUTHERE BROTHERS, they took part 2 times at the TV show "Top Of The Pops", THE SOUNDLOVERS.
Some remix: VASCO ROSSI with "Rewind" and "Ti Prendo E Ti Porto Via"; RINO GAETANO with "Ma Il Cielo E' Sempre Più Blu", GEMELLI DIVERSI with "Mary", then BOY GEORGE and ATB.
In 2000 he published "Genik" and "Discotek People", its was into the record "Les Jeux Sont Faits" which was published in 2001. The new single "Love Lasts Forever" was a huge hit!!!
In 2002 Molly published "T.V.A.B.", in autumn "Magia", this tracks contains the GALA's riff (made by Molella) "Come Into My Life".
In 2003 he produces "Baby!", a track with a '60s sound, then "Desert Of Love" with an epic style likes "Originale Radicale Musicale".
Thanks to all this Molella wins the "Italian Music Awards" in the category "Best Dance Producer" in 2002 and 2003".
In 2004 the collaboration with Gigi D'Agostino brings to life the project GIGI&MOLLY: the first single "Con Il Nastro Rosa", it was a real hit and this is the confirmation of the success of this duo.
Per la terza volta, Vasco Rossi gli affida il remix del suo singolo "Buoni O Cattivi".
After 3 years from the release of "Les Jeux Sont Faits", arrives "Made in Italy", the new album of Molella, a work not just to be listened to but also to be read and discovered!!!
In 2005 he releases the 4th remix for Vasco Rossi "Cosa vuoi da me" and a new version of "If you wanna party" ft. the Outhere Brothers.
Nel 2006 the big success of his radio show 'Mush Up' into the Deejay Time show, begins a compilation, the 1st one dedicated to the homonym music phenomenon which from bootlegs has became a trend.
In this year has been published "From space to my life" and the remix of "If you wanna party" by Molella and Outhere Brothers.
In 2007 he released a new tune: "Love Resurrection" sang by the great voice of Tony and remixed by Outwork.
In the month of April Molella remixed the hit by Bob Sinclar "Give a lil love" the new single of the french DJ.

Un anno dopo è al microfono in una piccola radio locale. Nel 1986 approda a Radio Deejay dove Maurizio fa il suo debutto come regista, dall'altra parte del vetro ci sono prima Gerry Scotti e poi Amadeus. Dopo qualche mese arriva il suo primo MEGAMIX. Un anno dopo al microfono c'è Lorenzo Cherubini: il programma è il mitico 1-2-3 CASINO, con Jovanotti inizia una collaborazione che lo porterà sia in televisione che in tour.

Nel 2004 la collaborazione con Gigi D'Agostino vede la nascita del progetto GIGIeMOLLY: il primo singolo, "Con Il Nastro Rosa", viene accolto molto bene da tutti ed è la conferma del successo di questo binomio.

A tre anni di distanza da "Les Juex Sont Faits", arriva "Made In Italy", il nuovo album di Molella, un lavoro non solo da ascoltare ma da leggere e scoprire!!!
Nel 2005 esce il quarto remix realizzato per Vasco Rossi "Cosa vuoi da me" e una nuova versione di "If you wanna party" con gli Outhere Brothers.
Nel 2006 il grande successo della sua rubrica 'Mush Up' all'interno del Deejay Time, diventa anche una compilation, dedicata al fenomeno musicale che è ormai diventato un trend!

Il 2007 si apre con un nuovo brano: "Love Resurrection" cantato dalla potente voce di Tony e remixato da Outwork.
Nell'Aprile dello stesso anno Molella remixa la super hit di Bob Sinclar "Give a lil love" il nuovo singolo del DJ francese.
