Molinder Band started in Gothenburg/Sweden 2002.
Back then, the idea was to bring a band together with a different setting of instruments. Not the "normal" type of band-type you've so gotten used to. Influenced buy artists such as Dave Matthews, Jeff buckley and Sting we started to write songs and play in different venues mostly around the Gothenburg-area in the west of Sweden where I and most of the members of the band lived.
Slowly, after releasing a couple of EP-albums, (Soul in me -02, Life Spark -03 and Kill Your Darlings -04), I guess you could say that the "band" developed into not being a band anymore. Different members had come and gone and the constallation of instruments and influences had shifted variously.
I took A break from music for about two a year. But strange things happen when you try leave something behind. So "in secret", I wrote the songs which would end up on my latest EP "In the Room With Fire". The album was named after a good friend of mine with a special gift for inspiring people.
In April 2007 I released "In the Room With Fire" through my own record label "Tender Records".
After releasing the album I went on tour for a year through Sweden, Denmark, The Faroe Islands, Iceland and USA.

Mmm... Summer... how I can't wait for summer so I get sick of that in no time and long for Winter again. Been so cold here... but it'll be so damn hot in the Summer, I'll hate that. Bring on Spring!!!
Battling a cold, and a (now) minor case of writers block... but the (now) novel/uni work is coming along after a major project restructure. Stressful, but it's working now. :) And life in general is good! Hope the writing is being nice to you!
