I have a great respect for Uncle Tom's Cabin. Early American Literature excites me, but I can't stand Post-Modernism works. I enjoy "trashy" books, which means I can read through them and not think about it. The one author I absoulutely will not read is Danielle Steel. Oh, and if you haven't read any books by Christopher Moore, you must! "Lamb" is his best, but "The Stupidest Angel" is great too. About me:
I'm 29, a mom to my 2 year old son, Jordan. I'm expecting another child on September 5th, 2009 and look forward to adding this child to our family. My husband Chris is the breadwinner, and I get to spend all his money. Poor guy doesn't even have a say it where it goes.
I like to read, I enjoy free writing on occasion, and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Right now, life is good. We're content, and I think that's all anyone can really ask for.
Things I've learned:
~Laughter makes life more enjoyable.
~Money isn't everything, although I used to think it was.
~Never take anything for granted, like sleep
~Life can take unexpected turns, and you just have to deal with it.
~I've become a more patient person, but I still need to work on my temper
~I need to accept the things that I can't change.
