Emerging artist Mollie Weaver has been well received in New York City. She has performed on the stages of Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kitchen, Joes Pub and on March third of 2007 debued her music along with friends Pete Huttlinger, Chris Nole and Byron House at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Coming from a family of musicians, Mollie started singing to an audience at a very young age and chose to study at the Conservatory of music in Kansas City, where she graduated in (opera) vocal performance. You can hear Mollies voice and compositions on many national television networks, including the Oxygen network, MTV, Fox and the WB. Mollie has recorded and performed in the world renowned musical circles of artists John Denver, Faith Hill, Barbara Streisand, Frank Sinatra, the Rolling Stones and many more. Those same wonderful musicians recorded three albums in Nashville with Mollie and acclaimed producer Kris OConnor. Mollie has performed with entertainers like Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jay Leno, Tracy Byrd, Gary Mule Deer, and Noel Paul Stookey, singing at stadiums for as many as 60,000 people. Mollie also performed in Kansas City at Kaufman and Arrowhead stadiums, in Denver at the Paramount Theatre, Magness Arena, the Pepsi Center, and the Denver Coliseum, and on local Denver television and radio. Most recently, Mollie has been working with the New York City cartoonist Ben Katchor and singer-songwriter Mark Mulcahy, ex-Miracle Legion frontman, on an avant-garde opera.
