JT Productions
JT has handled the booking chores at Molly Malones for over 16 years. He fusses over the PA and sound engineers to keep the sound at Mollys one of the best sounding rooms in the city. JT brokered all the current equipment endorsement deals at the venue and works closely with several other LA venues.
Originally form New Jersey, JT grew up listening to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, The Allmans and music of the late 70’s. Attending college in Tampa, he became involved with the Office of Student Programming which put on concerts and club shows on USF’s large campus. JT booked and ran the Breakaway in West LA from 1988-92, producing a compilation album of the artists there and hosting shows by Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale and others before moving into the Hollywood market.

Mollys has been around in some form or another since prohibition, serving exceptional beer and pub food. Live music has been on the menu for over 20 years. Mollys is the namesake for Irish punk band, Flogging Molly who performed there on Mondays for over 3 years in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Artists who have performed here include: Weezer, Joan Osbourne, Black 47, Lenny Kravitz, Lucinda Williams, Wayne Hancock, Tony Jo White, Asylum Street Spankers etc. Known for both rock and rootsy music Mollys has a fantastic sound system, comfortable feel and nice staff. Currently developing up and coming artists like Reeve Carney (Interscope), Nina Storey, I-94, Justin Clayton and others...

Molly Malones features most styles of music at least 6 nights a week. On any given night you could see an acoustic performance, rock, pop, indie, country, bluegrass, americana, or reggae. We do not feature rap, hip hop, hard rock, metal or anything too loud or heavy. We are also available for filming, recording live shows and sketch type shows. Mollys features both local and national touring acts and the cover varies depending on the show. Some select shows have tickets available by ticket web. Many other emerging artists have graced our stages over the years (Weezer, 5 for Fighting, Train,) We’ve also had established artists like Jerry Cantrell, Michelle Shocked, Peter Case and Tears For Fears play at Molly Malones. On any given night we may have special guests who sit in with people they know performing, Lucinda Williams and Jonny Lang have been down most recently as well as Lenny Kravitz, Joan Osbourne and the Counting Crows in the past. Molly Malone's has been owned and operated by the same Irish family for 32 years. Walking into the place, you'd think a Dublin Pub was miraculously transported to Los Angeles. This local institution has been featured in such movies as Leaving Las Vegas, Patriot Games, and Life without Dick. The walls of the pub are covered by over 70 paintings done by noted Irish portrait painter Neal Boyle. Molly Malones has a long (over 30 years) standing tradition of showcasing the finest musical talent in the Los Angles area. The club initially featured Irish troubadours performing drinking songs and traditional Irish music. The program has evolved to include mostly original music from up and coming songwriters and light bands. The focus is on rootsy, listenable music with strong vocals and talented side musicians. Most styles can be heard at Mollys at one time or another however Molly's does not feature hard rock or metal. Molly's has a casual atmosphere and warm, local feeling and it is not unusual for special guests to appear. Several artists have been signed to recording contracts after performing at the club. Guest artists who have appeared include; Michelle Shocked, Joan Osborne and Lenny Kravitz to name a few. Los Angeles Times: "Even before it was Irish Molly Malone's Pub, the bar at 575 Fairfax had history. There are rumors that this was one of the first pubs to be licensed after prohibition. The walls are dark, covered in Irish memorabilia and art. There are shelves lined with books and, generally speaking, everything that isn't made of wood is green---except for the beer, which is never green, even on St. Patrick's Day. Beer is serious here. The air has a comfortable smell of beer-soaked wood, a scent that makes many wax nostalgic. Lots of people who come in fro the airport make this their first stop. There is also a large contingent of neighborhood regulars and local hipsters. ...No matter what you think of the population when you walk in the door, after a couple of Jameson's Irish whiskey, all the blokes start to look like Liam Neeson. Molly Malone's is known as a hangout for the music industry. There have been quite a few bands that have been signed by record labels out of here. A sign on the wall says" Dublin, 40km." Some would say it's closer." - LA TIMES
