Seeking beauty. Engaging truth. Longing for mystery. Molly McCue is a Seattle artist with warm vocals, a driving pop sound, and a thousand-watt smile. She also has a gift for storytelling. And some very personal stories are what emerged when she sat down to write her first solo album, Molly McCue The EP, which was released independently in 2007. The result is not only the tale of a girl who made her way through hardship, but also the statement of a woman who took charge of herself and her music, defining what she is made of. Molly McCue The EP is available at digital music stores everywhere.
Hi Molly, Myspace is an amazing place. I have well over 20,000 "friends" and most of them are really nice people. Some are great artists and some really like the arts. Some are deep thinkers and philosophers. Some are great spiritual lights upon the Earth. Most are searching... Once in awhile a page will come up, the music player will start and I know I am hooked forever. That happened today the moment I heard Storybook Beautiful. Wow!! What an amazingly beautiful song!! I then proceeded to listen to everything on your player twice. I really don't have time to listen to anything, write comments, look at photo's or read bio's. Sometimes I just have to! You are a shining light upon the Earth!! Mabey an Angel with wings made of light, sound and poetry. I myself, am not at all interested in signing to a label. I can record a CD for under a thousnd dollars and get it out to radio stations and get played all on my own. It's just me playing an acoustic guitar after all. I couldn't believe it when I saw that you weren't signed to someone like Sony or Warner Brothers. They SHOULD be out there looking for people like you, however, just like Senators and Congress people, they don't have to be genious's to get their jobs. I will be touring into your area in 2010 and hope to hear you somewhere.

Shoot, oh no! I had no idea they were in town! It's because of Julie Davis (of Bela Karoli) that Kurt and I met!!! She had a crush on him and another guy, introduced us....and the rest is HISTORY!!! She didn't let me know they were in town this time around. Kurt is at a bachelor night anyway for a close friend, so it wouldn't have worked...but SHOOT!!! How are you? Are you going?
Your music is beautiful and enchanting - thanks so much for the add!! I'll be playing at Allegro Cafe in Seattle this Friday, Aug. 15th if you happen to have a night off. ;)
