    So.. I don't really know how to start these things! They're so formal!.. I'm Molly McQueen. I was the lead singer and guitarist in The Faders. Cherisse, who was the drummer, and I are still the best of friends and have been living together and writing as much as we can for my solo album but its hard to see her at the moment cos she's now MIKA's drummer. Is It You is one of the ones we wrote together. So... what have I been up to? Well... .. .. ...I've been writing with quite a few people for my album - including Paul Barry (who has written many hit songs, like Hero for Enrique Iglesias + Believe for Cher. I've also been messing around and writing with Marco and Chris formerly from "Adam and the Ants" .. I have worked with the lovely Mark Taylor - producer + songwriter – he's won a grammy – had 4 US no 1's + much, much more – and he recorded the original record of 'Psycho Gorgeous' + also 'You Are Not The One'. He's part of a production + songwriting collective called Metrophonic + I spent a lot of time down there writing + recording…..it's a great place – I love the atmosphere – all creative people together from the writing through to the finished record. .. .. I had the good fortune to bump into the beautiful Katie Melua at a gig. She's one of the most lovely down to earth girls I've met. It's rare to find people like her in the industry I can assure you! We have been writing together and ended up co-writing "Perfect Circle" on he album "Pictures". All in all things are going really well. I've just come back from L.A (new songs now up!) and am about to get gigging.
