Rancid, The Clash,Tiger Army,Total Chaos,Flogging Molly,Lars Fredriksen and the bastards,Distillers,Strebers,Dia Psalma,Skarpretter is great punk that always makes me crazy and happy.
And all the wonderful musicians that you meet on your way, on the streets,in the pubs,around the corner,far away,at someones house party.Everywhere, in life.
Molly Summer didn..t run away with the circus, she ran away from it.
Growing up in the little land Skåne,just outside Sweden in the south.Molly lived in a old,cold house in the middle of where motorcykle gangs Bandidos and Hells Angels were based, in a little village called Kattarp(Cat village).
25 year old Molly has travelled all her life from the age of four with her parents circus.Living 7 months every year on the road in caravans.Travelled every day to a new destination.
Starting out performing at 4 years old,clowning around and riding her shetland pony for the next 3 years but then found something even cooler that she wanted to do,snake charming.She became the youngest snake charmer of Sweden at the age of 8. Then over to clowning and finally finding her stile of what she really likes to do in the circus world,juggling.
Got uppsest with tattoos at the age of eleven,when she got her first one done.With permision from her parents ,if she only got one done in life.But three years later at 14 she made another one, her parents were not happy.And more tattoos would eventually dress her body.
Ran away from the circus at the age of 14 to sneak under the seats of trains to go to all the great music festivals of Sweden and Denmark.Her parents were not happy.But Molly was.And they could never stop her.Wild as a wolf,they could not even scratch the fur of her neck.Whaoooooooooo!!!
Play music, and you will make her body move,her body soul will dance,dance,dance.She has studied african dance,burlesque dance and modern dance.Loves flamenco and hip hop too and other dance stiles.
Studied photography for two years, with a great love for this art.Had a black and white photo excibition about angels in 2001.
Graduated from drama and dance school 2001, then said bye,bye to her familly of folks and four brothers.I..m heading of on my own. Circus, catch ya later.
First destination Iceland,fell in love with the place, then took of to Ireland where she lived in Galway,working as Molly Clown at kids parties with her four soccor boll juggling,balloons and facepainting,and sometimes juggling on the streets.
Ireland became the favorite place and would bring her back year after year to this magical place with their music, people and drinking culture.
Travelled around europe with her juggling, sometimes performing on the streets, sometimes in pubs and cafe..s.But most of the times juggling very drunk(far too many free drinks).But still she would keep all the soccorballs in the air and wouldn..t drop them(except for once when she was completely wasted).
Jumped on a plane to Australia in dec 2003, where she has been based since, in Melbourne inbetween travelling.Hooked up with a travelling carneval and went all over the place thrue the inland of Queensland and Northern Territory.
Then performed with her juggling with the australian band The Groovesmiths in 2004-2005 around Melbourne and then on their east coast tour.
Allways loved singing and writing but it was really in 2004 she picked up the guitar and eventually harmonicas.Writing songs is a very big passion,she sings her own songs,and done so since the day she lernt playing guitar.She likes to write about dreaming stories(from a childs kind of view)about her travells, and about interesting people she meets on her way,about the circus life.And about issues in life that pisses her of.
She is writing at the moment her first book for children.
She loves little kids,the way they look at life.How everything is so simple and beautiful for them, everything is possible in their eyes.It is truly important to never forget to be a little bit of a child,don..t be to adult like.Be crazy and happy.Don..t care what others think,kids don..t.
Molly Summer goes back and forward to Europe-Australia every year, travelling around to various places,different countries and spending some time with her family at the circus.
She travelled in 2007 around Australia from Woodford folk festival as a facepainter at the kids festival to south Australia and across the Nullarbor to Perth and up the west coast to Darwin.Merry times travelling and living in a combi van for five months with the idea to see amazing places, meet some great people and most important, write songs,make music and working on first childrens book.
In june 2007 she went to Abu Dhabi in United Arabia Emirates where she performed with her juggling for 8 different classes of school kids,going from classroom to classroom, at the Chouiefat School.The kids were gorgoues and so happy.
The tour with Cirkus Harlekin around Sweden ended in September last year and then went traveling around Europe on her own,all over the place to play her music in Poland,Czech Republic,Slovakia,Hungary,Serbia,Montenegro,Macedonia,Greece,Turkey,Bulgaria,Romania,Ukraine .Taking her adventures along with trains.
She is currently in a progress of her first album with 15 songs and touring around Sweden with Circus Harlekin after being back from traveling the states and Canada.

Hej syrran,tack så mycket!,jag e nöjd med den oxså =) , ja vi cyckla 10 mil på 2 dagar. vi cyklade längs kusten från Helsingör och uppåt ,första stoppet var Hornbeack, ligger 1 och halv mil från Helsingör uppåt. vi drog från hbg gansk sent så dethan bi mörk ,såvi fick campa olovandes i en lite skog. sov typ 4 timmar .dan eter så fortsatte vi längst kusten och så ner til frederikssund. vi frågade nån gubbe ifall dom hade camping och han sa att dom inte hade det så vi stack hem med tåget på kvällen. pallade inte bo i nån skgg en dag till.men det va skitskoj, snacka om att man hade träningsvärk i benen på måndagen . hr e läget med dej??? vad gör du australien?

I was in the states marrying my long time girlfriend Michele, she's the New mrs Hat, we have been going back and forth over the atlantic for 4 years and thought it would be nice to be waking up in the same continent every day.
