New Inspired Poem for Thanksgiving

I Am Thankful

When I think upon my life
I ponder to give thanks.
I am thankful for my family and friends
For the love and guidance they have bestowed.
I am thankful for inspirations and gifts received
That for others I can freely share.
I am thankful for trials and tribulations
For they help to strengthen my trust and faith.
I am thankful for peace and joy.
That I can use to comfort another.
When I reflect on my spiritual life,
I am thankful for my Lord is sovereign
For in Him I can surrender my all.
I am thankful that my Lord is ever trusting
On Him I can fully depend.
I am thankful that my Lord is merciful
For my life He richly blesses.
I am thankful for His grace
For by grace I may receive salvation.
I am thankful for the treasures He has promised,
For my home in heaven is where my treasure I will
find.
When I think on my life,
I am thankful for my Jesus,
For when I survey the wondrous cross
I am reminded of His eternal love.
