Mo Magic has been involved in setting up some of the very first pre Asian Underground gigs across London, legendary club nights responsible for shaping and changing the face of dance music. A regular DJ in the scene, he made a reputation for his experimentation with a unique blend of beats and hard edged drum & bass fused with tough tabla breaks and the sweet sonic vibes of the Indian flute.
Originaly Influenced by the early days of Nation Records and the street sounds of Afrika Bambaata. He djed to the rebellious sound of 'Hardcore', the underground sound of London's pirate radio stations of the late 80's. This is a musical upbringing that reveals itself in many forms in his latest project 'Sirens'. Thirteen DJ friendly 12 inch mixes of dirty raw Breakbeat and Drum and Bass under the influence of an Asian. An album designed for use on a big sound system and predestined for the dance floor....
