Raised in North London, Devotion has come a long way since her childhood days when she used to dramatise about performing to a crowd while doing her chores. Her dreams have now become reality.
The owner and visionary of M.O.M (Master of Miracles) record label and music Production Company, Devotion is utilizing all her musical skills and abilities for her own advantage and for the good of others.
Her desires towards music started at school where she would beat drum rhythms on the tables and create some lyrics, thereby composing her own songs. Her creativity and wit brought about requests from her peers for regular performances of her songs. This further inspired her creative abilities to the point where she is now making a career of it.

An accomplished musician, producer, songwriter and performing artist, JD has wasted no time in finding her own space. She plays the drums, bass guitar and keyboards aptly as well as teaching music to others.
Not contented with being just a musician and producer with her own studio, Devotion is also a performing artist, she raps and sings along to the lively and upbeat rhythms she creates. As she performs, she has no reservations about interacting with audiences and indulging herself.
Devotion has stepped up the pace and has become a force to be reckoned with; she is now a recording artist with a debut EP release “Joshua Nation” a self written and self produced creation.
With all these accomplishments at the tender age of 22, that's certainly something to be commended.

There is no putting Jade Daley, aka Devotion, in any one category. Her talent embraces that of musician, producer, songwriter, and performing artiste.
As a testament to her creative producing abilities and that of a lyricist, Jade has self-produced her own CD entitled “Joshua Nation”. This six track CD offers a selection hip-hop, urban contemporary street music with a dash of soul in the mix that's found in the track “He Knows”.
The CD has street credibility and will appeal to young urbanites in the secular as well as the gospel arenas. This album is enhanced with the addition of the sleek sounding backing vocals of Connected as One.
Devotions rap style is radical in her tone as well as in her lyrical content. There is a resemblance that can be heard in her vocal tones with that of popular Jamaican artiste Lady Saw, notably in the remix of Positive People
Title track “Joshua Nation” talks of her commitment to stand in the gap for the human race and claim new territories, like Joshua, for Christ.
“Positive People” stands out from the rest in its lyrics and musical content. “You wanna carry on like a rebel, who you gonna serve, is it Christ or or is it the devil” is reiterated with the up tempo beat driving it, compelling you to listen to the point being made.
For a first production, Joshua Nation is credible in its musical and lyrical presentation and well worth listening to and adding to your collection.
