[moment] is a particular point in time, an indefinitely short time, here and now, at this time. A one night event, a minute portion or point of time dedicated to fashion, art & music.
At the 031106 [moment] five promising fashion labels were presented with their latest collections: morpurgo by Michelle Hazarian and Ruslans Bilejs, keta gutmane by Keta Gurmane, e.f. by Ieva Dexter, mareunrol’s and mrjeans by Mare Mastina and Rolands Peterkops. The event was unique with a special scenography, made by Austrian scenographer Rudolf Alban Bekic. Music was performed by Icelandic DJ Margeir aka Jack Shidt and special appearance by Tribes of the City (Latvia).
At the [moment] 310307 - a selected crowd of fashion appreciators had opportunity to evaluate and appraise Mareunrol’s, Keta Gutmane’s, Sandro Faber’s, Marko Galovic’s and Morpurgo Gallery new collections.
The event took place in collaboration with the Flanders Fashion Institute who enabled the participation of Sandro Faber & Marko Galovic who are Master Graduates from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp - Fashion department, which is one of the most prestigious fashion schools in Europe.
The Sinfonietta Riga, the Latvian academy of Culture CHOIR “SOLA” and DJ's (Lobsang Rampa (Berlin), ANDME (Berlin) and Katya Tyukova and Max Brannslokker (Latvia)), with specially made project for the fashion night, where electronic and classical music was brought together, took charge of musical atmosphere. Visual effects were made using new generation video artist.

Who I'd like to meet: The three first edition proved that [moment] is a long term project, able to develop and become more diverse in its expression:
- At the moment more and more Latvian and foreign talented artists are showing effort to be a part of
next [moment] events.
-> This time [moment] will amaze public during 6 running days within the Riga Fashion Week.
-> For the 4th edition, in order to continue our quest in supporting artists, we intend to involve beside all designers, visual artists, photographers, djs, vjs, young film directors, who will be given the possibility to show a short film of around 5 minutes.
-> For the first time in Baltics, fashion, art and music will be presented as a multicultural lifestyle by more than 50 various artists from 16 countries.
