MoMentuM PrOduCtiOns is a production company in DFW (Texas) founded in 2005 by Soleil Kubo Howard and Vanessa Mercado Taylor

MISSION: We are a theatre pushing its own boundaries and challenging its preconceptions of what theatre CAN be through high-energy, experimental, innovative performances that are radical yet accessible to all. Our art is about taking risks-aesthetically, mentally and physically; providing a complete and unified experience; taking that work to as wide an audience as possible; providing an outlet for new artists and new works of art; and reaching out to our community through culturally diverse and socially-conscious theatrical experiences. ITS TIME TO REDEFINE THE THEATRE AND CREATE A COMMUNITY OF TRUE ARTISTS THAT ARE FLEXIBLE AND FORWARD THINKING

WHAT WE BELIVE:

We believe that we must heighten the artistic integrity of the work and address the redefinition of dramatic and theatrical styles, forms and structures as emerging artistic responses to the changing world.

We believe in supporting and developing new plays, new playwrights and new methods of collaboration, placing great emphasis on the PROCESS by which new work is created.

We believe in the immense power of creativity and creative celebration

We believe in being motivated by artistic inspiration and creative need.

We also believe we must reach out to our communities. Our purpose is to increase awareness of societal issues by focusing on the political and spiritual values of contemporary culture; provide financial support to non-profit organizations through benefit performances; encourage young people to get involved and to utilize self-expression as an outlet for their vision, frustrations, anger, love and dreams. It is our thought that such involvement inspires individuals and their communities to voice opinions and come together to provoke social and cultural change.

The Butterfly Connection presents the world premiere of THE BOXER AND THE BLONDE by Rob Bosquez this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas.

This show is a multi-media experience that tells the fantastical story on stage and on screen. This special blending of mediums tells the story of a determined boxer, a hopeful blonde (THAT'S ME!), a sell-out vampire, an evil angel, a reptilian dealmaker, and a lovesick boxing manager in a post apocalyptic setting where the air is red and the bombing never stops.

You are invited June 13-15 and June 20-22 at the Rose Marine Theatre (1440 N. Main St.) . Show starts at 7:30 pm and tickets are $15. For more info www.
thebutterflyconnection. org or call (817) 333-4028.

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!!
