Mo Millar: singer, vocalist, lyricist, text poet, writer, vocal coach, speech coach and vocal emergency aid. Born in a musician/broadcast family of Dutch/Canadian descent. Sings since her awareness of the cacaphony of sound in her surroundings - classically trained on the piano and in a children's choir throughout her childhood - and combines her big love for singing and music with her passion for sound, the word and her curiosity about humans. People appreciate Mo as an extraordinary performer. She's known for a so-called "big voice", excellent pitch, easily picking up matters by the ear and for a great sense of harmony and rhythm. Mo is heard on several recordings accross Europe in a variety of music styles. Most of all, she feels home on stage where she can exchange and share.
Mo is much in demand as vocal coach, singing teacher, speech coach and voice emergency aid (Vox Sana Vocal Education). She has extensive speech experience due to a degree in broadcast journalism & communications, a career in radio/TV journalism and in media training to officials, companies & international organizations. Additionally certified in Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) following the 1-year Curriculum for advanced vocalists, in which she was intensively coached by voice researcher & vocal pedagoque Cathrine Sadolin & staff. Mo continuously updates her knowledge and skills at the Complete Vocal Institute-headquarters in Denmark in a specialized programme for vocal professionals in order to uphold the highest possible degree of vocal expertise.
