It's not just who is a hero..it's how they face overwhelming odds and pain inflicted by some source-and still come out shining like gold without inflicting the same on those who have hurt them.
Like Jesus did....and Joseph Smith jr
Jesus...the REAL Superhero!! And Mine...
AS for other heros-here are some of my all time favs.Jesus,..of course-you all know that I think of Him as such..he's my number one.
Joseph Smith Jr..and his dear brother Hyrum Smith-and I really adore Lucy Mack Smith-thier mother as well. And some from the book of Moromon
One of my favorite heros is Nephi-born around 600 BC and fled the falling Jerusalem with his dad.
He wrote:
Behold, the Lord hath redeemed my soul from hell; I have beheld his glory, and I am encircled about eternally in the arms of his love.
(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 1:15)
And this:
But I, Nephi, have written what I have written, and I esteem it as of great worth, and especially unto my people. For I pray continually for them by day, and mine eyes water my pillow by night, because of them; and I cry unto my God in faith, and I know that he will hear my cry.
And I know that the Lord God will consecrate my prayers for the gain of my people. And the words which I have written in weakness will be made strong unto them; for it persuadeth them to do good; it maketh known unto them of their fathers; and it speaketh of Jesus, and persuadeth them to believe in him, and to endure to the end, which is life eternal.

He wrote the first book in the book of Mormon-and I think the love he felt..the things he did-were all born of love and of God!For he showed it with his actions and his love.
And one more person that always captures my adoration and I love his strength-courage and his love for God.
Abinidi...a prophet who willingly gave his life so others could hear the gospel of Jesus.
About me: This my LDS page. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and at times very persecuted in my own family. This blog is made for my own purposes so I can place here what I love most-my faith and life about how I really feel without having to screen it all.Don't get me wrong..I am glad for them that they love thier own churches. This is for me and those who share my beliefs. It is the essence of who I am..it is what I want to be more than anything else in my life-a mormon. I also want to become a Marine Research Biologist someday and when I get well study at BYU

I also suffer from a pretty bad nerve disease-too complicated to go into right now-but God is helping me get better! It's rather like brain cancer and keeps me down at home most the time

Although somday I'd like to get married..now is NOT that time.I am too sick and must get healed first. So..for now-I am not looking...just for friends right now.Sorry....But when I do marry..it'll be forever-and only to an LDS priesthood holder. Temple marriage ONLY for this gal!!
As far as who I would like to meet...I'd ADORE to meet Joseph Smith Jr-he sounds like SUCH a dear, loving man.I hear his handshakes are worth thier weight in gold or better!
