About me: Each and every one of Mommy Makes Roses paper flowers is made to order and hand-crafted by artist Cassie Mae Chappell. Cassie Mae has worked for four years to develop and perfect her process for making the roses and is currently developing several other flowers to be released soon.
The rose petals are handcut from coffee filters and carefully formed into a rose. The paper blooms are then handpainted using high quality watercolors, to resemble a variety of tea roses. The stems are created using floral stems and wire and the leaves are handcut from handmade textured paper with great attention to all the fine details . The sizes vary, from miniature blooms that are 1 1/2" in diameter, to an extra double full bloom which is between 8" and 9" in diameter.

I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Now we’re going through an uncertain future with JJ as he remains in ICU at the animal hospital. Hopefully everything will be fine and back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.
