This is the Metromamma Wrap, our best seller. You can hold your little one twelve different ways in this sling as they grow. It is so comfortable and easy to use once we show you how. We are more than happy to show you in person and as many times as you need but it usually only takes three times. Come in and we will show you how to wear your baby in a sling with confidence and style. In the meantime watch Gena and Uma as they put on their Wrap N Wear sling. This particular sling she is using will be great for those hot fresno summer days. Mention that you saw it on our Myspace page and get $5.00 off!
Here is Gena and Uma in San Diego wearing their Crown Metrowrap for your princess or prince.

Three and a half years ago:
Mommy Matters like all good things was born out of necessity. While pregnant with my first child I found myself in a new town, I knew no one and I was anxious about becoming a mother. All the classes I could find regarding my pregnancy, were only offered at hospitals. All of the unique products I wanted could only be found on-line, or in major cities. I had a ton of questions and only got about 5 to 10 minutes with my doctor on any given visit. I bought a ton of books but only half were worth my time. I was exasperated. While shopping in San Fransisco for a Mei tai sling, my sister and I sat down at a cute little cafe and bemoaned the fact that we were forced to trudge all over creation. I was seven months pregnant, running around OTHER cities to find what I wanted! We decided that was unacceptable and did something about it.
Present Day:
Mommy Matters was open for almost four years. We loved every minute of it. Due to the crushing economy we were forced to close. We exist today however online at www.mommymattersonline.com, with hopes of one day opening again. But not until we have opened a birth center. We still offer classes, be sure to email us with any questions regarding birth.

I know there is no way you will remember me, but I used to live in Fresno and did met you a few times. I loved your store & the concept behind it and miss it now. We moved to Orange County about a year ago and I just had my 3rd baby about 4 weeks ago. I NEED YOU DOWN HERE! Just like in your bio, I am having the hardest time finding the help I need. It is my 3rd baby so I'm not completely new to this, but having everything in one place, knowing where to go to find it, or be pointed in the right direction to find it would be invaluable right now.
I bought a baby wrap in your store back when my 2nd son was a few months old and loved it. You were so helpful in teaching me to use it and convincing me I could learn to wrap it myself :). I wore it out so I needed a new one. I didn't want to order on-line if possible so I trudged all over Orange County to find one. Many, many miles and stops later I found a very basic (and boring) one. I would have been better off ordering on-line! If you were here (or more simply probably, if I were still in Fresno) I would have known right where to go!
I also don't have any breast feeding support here. Believe it or not, even in a big area like this, I feel pretty alone. Luckily, with this baby, I haven't had a need for help (yet), but with my other 2 I did. Just knowing someone was out there if I did need help would be so comforting. Again, if you were here I would know where to go!
You have an amazing concept behind your store. I'm envious of your creativity and perseverance in pulling everything together. Keep up the good work you have a GREAT, EXTREMELY VALUABLE hub of resources, products & support available in the Fresno area. I wish I had thought of it! Love what you have done - please, please move down here! :) I need you desperately!
I have a Myspace application on my phone that lets me have a signature that's why it's on all my messages, etc. I don't know if they give you that option thru the main site.
Hi! I had a great visit with you today at the store. My husband and I will definately be in there within the next few months to pick up some stuff and hopefully get a membership. See you soon!
Thank you for the opportunity to watch "The Business of Being Born. " It was a wonderful experience and I will be back to watch it again before I'm due, I'm sure!
