About me:

Moms for Marijuana is an informal, non-profit organization of parents and other citizens across the world who are concerned with the ignorant war that continues to be fought against the Cannabis plant, and how it is negatively affecting the future generations of this earth.

We focus on strengthening awareness and promoting education regarding the plant species Cannabis.

It is Moms for Marijuana's beliefs:

That our government and corporations should research and utilize all the potential benefits of this plant; and make U.S. grown Cannabis products available to the public so that we may have the choice in using a natural and less harmful alternative to the products we currently purchase.

That, as with all drugs, Marijuana should NOT BE USED by developing minds under the age of legal consent without parental guidance, as well the recommendation and continuous evaluation by a licensed medical physician.

That our children should be educated on all aspects of Cannabis; from the thousands of miraculous medical, industrial, agricultural, environmental and economic benefits to the repercussions, risks and history associated with the Cannabis plant.

And in doing so, leave them a better world and more hope for a future than what our ancestors left for us.

A computerized microscope captured images of the cells every 5 minutes to compile the time-lapse videos. After 20 hours of treatment, Δ9-THC kills all cancer cells but leaves normal brain cells alive. Cell death is evidenced by cells shrinking to inanimate white spheres. (Play videos at the same time)

    I live in California and I need your help getting alternative medication ツ for my spine injury and subsequent mental breakdown. I have been unable to work and have been on workers’ compensation for almost 3 years now due to a misdiagnosed and mistreated work injury. I’m currently taking 12 prescription medications twice a day including multiple pain and psych meds. When the pain gets exceptionally bad I have to drink alcohol with the pain meds just to get through the day. Drs have stated that my chronic pain and psych problems make me an excellent candidate to benefit from medical marijuana legally used per California state law. My Drs are unable to prescribe it for me but have given me the ok to see a Dr that does prescribe it without assistance from any insurance. That will cost me $150 to see the Dr and get my card for the first year and whatever the amount is to get the medication itself. I have tons of bills from being off work for 3 years and just don’t have the money.

    I’m asking for help to cover the costs of medical marijuana for my own, legal, private use. I should be able to afford it if some of you could please help by sending me just one dollar cash in an envelope. I want to sleep again, overcome my agoraphobia, spend my days with decreased pain, decreased anxiety and decreased depression. I want to decrease my use of prescription medications before I permanently damage my body. Thank you very much for any support you can give me.
