About me:
To the real gourmets of housemusic, Momsclub from the “city” of Leopoldsburg does not need a big introduction. Since the foundation of this party-collective in 2000, it’s fair to say its house-gigs have acquired a solid reputation in Belgium. The Momsclub venues always offer a unique and jollyful atmosphere, as does the sound from the turntables, dished up by momma’s guests and its resident dj’s.
Currently, Momsclub numbers 4 resident jockeys: the deepmasta “Dan D”, hot and steamy “Luvs”, Master at “Praktis” and, recently welcomed, Ace of Spades “Rutz”. Playlists include tracks ranging from loungy, funky and US-feelgoodhouse to the deeper stuff with a techy touch. Soulful and jazzy vocal tunes alternate with the more hip hop- influenced house. And that’s just the menue.
Momsclub has been offered the opportunity to host a monthly concept-night at the renewed balcony of Café d’Anvers. We intend to bring funky house to the “Metropolis” and we’ll be doing that, together with our friends, as from fall 2007.

down_under and Silenced are joining forces to kick off 2010 in style, with a marathon 12hour party!!!
The silenced collective will start the party. They'll guide you safely from 2009 to 2010. You can already look forward to a big countdown, deep basslines and intelligent musical climaxes. These guys know what they 're doing. They've been living on Silo techno for more than a decade now. With great love, they've seen the music evolve to what some might refer to as 'contemporary techno'. Of course, that's just a name. What you can count on, is 6 years of residency at Silo and a line-up that's earthquake-proof: Crisp, Pilsner, Sebastian Häld, Dan Droff, Raphaël Klaps.
Over the past year down_under established itself as another quality house night at Club Silo in Belgium. With line-ups of some of the best European Dj talents (Matthias Tanzmann, Martinez, Nick Curly, Christian Burkhardt,...) they gained a reputation as a new innovating party for house and techno heads and party people alike in Belgium. For New Year's Eve down_under is lucky enough to welcome the considerable Belgian talents of Massimo Girardi and Hermanez. Completing the line-up are DU's residents Dezz Terquez and Jitter who will provide their underground mixture of house & techno, which will take you down, deep into 2010.

down_under will be back on the 17th of October to celebrate our one year anniversary. For this party we are pulling out all the stops with a monster line up.
Heading up the bill is MATTHIAS TANZMANN, definitely one of, if not the best dj we had at down_under last season. The ones who were at Silo in February must remember what a great party it was and you probably can not wait for his next set at down_under.
Joining him for the first time at Silo will be CHRISTIAN BURCKHARDT from the infamous OSLO and raum...music label, who will do a live performance for you all. We are so looking forward to seeing you all again. THIS WILL BE OFF THE HOOK!!
