Mona picked up her first guitar at age 7 (Stella Harmony, of course), and immediately knew that music would be her life long passion. She began playing bars and clubs before she was old enough to get in "legally" (but don't tell anyone)!
Over the years she has opened for, and performed with many notable artists such as Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles, The Beach Boys, Night Ranger, The Fixx, The Ramones, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Nick Lowe.
For eight years she was a member of Memory Age, the experimental duo with partner Tony Cultreri (brother of Cliff Cultreri, former guitarist of Bill Laswell's "Material"). Their progressive, uniquely arranged, compositions which blended voice, electronic and acoustic instruments, had earned them an impressive fan base and the accolades of Steve Vai, David Byrne (The Talking Heads), Joe Satriani and many other influential artists.
After the demise of Memory Age, Mona went solo and started

where she composes, music for film, television, advertising, trailers and videogames. She also produces and arranges projects for other artists - Speaking of which...

Mona is currently composing music for a new tv show, trailer, and later this year, she will be scoring a new film and begin production on "SONGS FROM VIDEO GAMES".....
This will be a collection of shredding rock, bangin hip hop and searing electronica from artists who have been featured in GH, MADDEN, DDR and many more! .....

In addition to music and TV, Mona's other passion is photography. She recently began showing her work throughout the U.S. in various group exhibitions.
She loves reflecting her world (whether it be famous friends, places, animals or just about ANY object) through this medium.
