La sixième d’une famille de sept enfants, née à Port of Spain à la Trinité, je suis de sang amérindien, bolivien, indien, irlandais et écossais.
Bercée dans mon enfance au son des notes du piano de ma mère et des musiques de soca, calypso, et steel band, je me découvre une passion pour le soul, R&B, rock, les divas de la pop et du jazz.
Partie pour Londres où je débute dans la chanson jazz et R&B tout en poursuivant mes études de littérature, je deviendrai bientôt membre d’un groupe vocal harmonique interprétant les classiques des années soixantes.
Lors des tournées, paroles et mélodies me viennent en tête et je finirai par poser ma valise pour mieux les entendre.

I moved to London and started singing jazz and r&b while studying Literature and then joined a four-part vocal harmony group.
On the road, words and melodies started whispering in my ear until I finally put down my suitcase to stop and listen.
