Ok People. Our shop is in the middle of nowhere, almost as if it was dropped from space. Getting to us takes forever from everywhere, and ultimately, most first time visiters think they are actually in Pennsilvania. All that having been said, it's definitely worth the trip. We were born ten years ago the red headed step child of a larger shop, left to scrap it out in the wild. In the beginning we mostly got by on naps and guest spots at the bigger shop. Slowly; Very slowly, we built a solid reputation for good clean work, and a friendly atmosphere, and the naps became less frequent.... After eight years the big bad daddy sold us the shop and we were reborn MONARCH TATTOO October 16, 2004. Proudly, we've become the studio for those who know. Still doing what we've always done, good clean work without the attitude.
Justin DeVoe joined us in January of '07. Matt Graham has joined us in August of '08. We are a very well rounded shop with REAL tattooers. Everyone with has over 10 years tattooing or heavy involvement in the scene. No rock stars, tv stars, or part time know it alls. Please check out our work. TALK IS CHEAP. UNHINGED rawks Rockland County tomorrow night July 31st. We'll be @ Christy's in Pearl River. Christy's is Rocklands newest live music venue. They have great food & an awesome staff.
