   About Monday Club Circus
The Monday Club Circus Project was started by myself around 3 years ago with the soul intention of creating a sound that was truly like no other sound out their, and with NO influences accept the underground drum and bass scene and and vivid imagination. I created the concept that I hope some of you will be able to relate to in some sort of way alongside my diverse mindset and weird character. I started writing at the age of 15 although kicked out of school I was always praised for my writing ability's and my inner vision to create a story that drew you into the realms of my scripture. at 18 I worked in some of the biggest clubs in Spain Mc'ing for three years and matured as a professional host in a massive club called Tokio Joes. After three years I came back to the UK and worked on some of the biggest drum and bass stations in the world "Origin Fm" Drum and bass world wide to name a few and settled into what I thought at the time was a good scene. After realizing that in the most part the underground rave scene is basically full of not very nice people who are stuck up their own arse's and only interested in one thing "ME ME ME"!! I decided to start my own band and stick two fingers up at those who deserved it and continue with my passion which has always been writing and music. This project is what I have created without no influences accept my underground experiences and still continue to create daily. Hopefully in the not so distant future I will get my just deserts, as I'm so determined to progress to the top and be heard on a big scale for my creativity that has no boundaries. I have written songs for a few bands, and the proudest moment of my life came when DirtyPrettyThings allowed me to set up Poetry of The Month on their main site "Carl Barret from the libertines". I continue to do this privilege although the band have split, but hopefully when the new project starts for Carl I will be able to continue to contribute to the new beginning for this talented musician.. I would like to say a massive thank you to Kirsty Want and Kirsty Ridout for allowing me for the last three years to progress in such a productive way. I must apologize for my sometimes strange ways of expression mostly due to the excess amount of alcohol I was drinking during this phase of my life. (I'm OK now). I am currently writing a book called the Suburbian Poet about my experiences as a musician who grew up in the weirdest of circumstance and who has experienced so many mad and crazy times along the way. I hope this gives an incite into the Circus I have created and look forward to seeing you at our gigs in the new year and having a chat and a few beers. xCraig   I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

WHEN I have fears that I may cease to be
Before my pen has glean'd my teeming brain,
Before high pil`d books, in charact'ry,
Hold like rich garners the full-ripen'd grain;
When I behold, upon the night's starr'd face,         5
Huge cloudy symbols of a high romance,
And feel that I may never live to trace
Their shadows, with the magic hand of chance;
And when I feel, fair creature of an hour!
That I shall never look upon thee more,  10
Never have relish in the faery power
Of unreflecting love;—then on the shore<a name="12"&

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

And if it snowed and snow covered the drive
he took a spade and tossed it to one side.
And always tucked his daughter up at night
And slippered her the one time that she lied.
And every week he tipped up half his wage.
And what he didn't spend each week he saved.
And praised his wife for every meal she made.
And once, for laughing, punched her in the face.

And for his mum he hired a private nurse.
And every Sunday taxied her to church.
And he blubbed when she went from bad to worse.
And twice he lifted ten quid from her purse.

Here's how they rated him when they looked back:
sometimes he did this, sometimes he did that.

I had a dream, which was not all a dream.
The bright sun was extinguish'd, and the stars
Did wander darkling in the eternal space,
Rayless, and pathless, and the icy earth
Swung blind and blackening in the moonless air;
Morn came and went--and came, and brought no day,
And men forgot their passions in the dread
Of this their desolation; and all hearts
Were chill'd into a selfish prayer for light:

My thoughts are crabbed and sallow,
My tears like vinegar,
Or the bitter blinking yellow
Of an acetic star.

Tonight the caustic wind, love,
Gossips late and soon,
And I wear the wry-faced pucker of
The sour lemon moon.

While like an early summer plum,
Puny, green, and tart,
Droops upon its wizened stem
My lean, unripened heart.

I'm a riddle in nine syllables,
An elephant, a ponderous house,
A melon strolling on two tendrils.
O red fruit, ivory, fine timbers!
This loaf's big with its yeasty rising.
Money's new-minted in this fat purse.
I'm a means, a stage, a cow in calf.
I've eaten a bag of green apples,
Boarded the train there's no getting off.
