About MONDAYS ALIBI (DEPARTURE ALBUM ON ITUNES NOV. 09!)
Monday's Alibi stomped into the San Diego Music Scene on a mission to prolong an era of rock riffs brought home with catchy hooks. Since coming together in mid 2007, M.A. has been overwhelmed by the positive reaction and respect from their fans and music industry professionals. In less than a year, they have performed in venues all over Southern California.
After a couple years of searching, Bernie Perez and Gabe Ogilvie connected with Robert Ormrod and Ruben Guerrero to ignite Monday’s Alibi. Along with their infectious rock anthems, M.A. connects with their listeners through thought provoking lyrics. It is the purity in their song writing that set them apart from the pack.
The band released an EP in April 2008. The sessions – produced by Joe Marlett (Signature Sound Studios) and mastered by Gavin Lurssen (Lurssen Mastering) – allowed these talented individuals to truly come together and explore on their way to creating something vital and new.
M.A.’s abilities extend well beyond the studio. Their exceptional musicianship and dynamic interaction can be seen and felt at their live performances. M.A.’s raw energy on stage results in a powerful connection with their audience that reverberates long after the stage has cleared.
Monday’s Alibi plans to release their debut full-length album mid November, 2009!
