Mondo Scuro is GK Machine and DJ Dandy.
Now here's some numbers if you're not sick to death of them: They have a combined age of 74. They have both been DJing for over 10 years each. For you guys that love maths that's more than 20 years. They own 1000s of 12 inch records. They both like each other's records a lot. So they got together and shortly thereafter the pair gave birth to young ‘Mondo Scuro’, now almost two.
Although they don't actually have any idea of what their musical policy is, they do like to pretend to their friends, the public and the media that they have a good idea of what they're up to and tell them such things as "our policy is one of playing anything we feel like - as long as you can dance to it." And things like that. And I suppose that means it could be dance music from almost any musical genre imaginable; new/no wave, disco, reggae, avant-garde, electronic, pop, experimental, funk, house, techno, soul, electro, etc. Who knows? But they'd say "anything that’s got a good beat and makes people dance like crazy." Is that a policy? Who knows?
