Bringing together a fairly close knit community of reprobates and lunatics, Mondo Video is home to the best cultural rot available on DVD and VHS. The Mondo Family-run store attracts an odd collection of cinemaphiles and oddballs who come as much for the store's carnival atmosphere as for the tapes. From legitimate fringe cinema (Andy Warhol, Russ Meyer) to cultural low points (the entire "Jerry Springer: Too Hot for TV" collection) to total aberrations (midget porn), nothing is sacred here. If you're inclined to save a few bucks, all rentals are two-for-the-price-of-one on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
