About me: I was born in Washington, DC to the late Alvin & Anna Middleton. I was also educated in the Parochial and Public school systems in the Washington, DC area. At the age of 20 I decided to join the Military. While serving in the Armed Forces, I served a tour of duty in Okinawa, three tours in Viet Nam and a tour in Korea.
My awards consist of the following: National Defense Service Medal, Master Parachutes Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge, Viet-Nam Service Medal, Viet-Nam Campaign Medal w/ “V” device, Army Commendation Medal w/”V” device & 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Meritorious United Citation, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Republic of Viet-Nam Gallantry Cross, Good Conduct Medal 7th Award, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
While on active duty I enrolled into numerous college courses and received a certificate of completion from the College of Police Science in Fairfield Alabama and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Regents of the University of San Moritz, London England.
After leaving the Military in 1981, I was employed by the Brunswick County Board of Education as a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Instructor at North Brunswick High School 1983. Since retiring from the school in 1999 I had became active in helping the underprivileged in finding decent low-income housing. So in 2000 I purchased four single wide three bedroom two baths mobile homes, which are presently located in eyes distance from my home. I am constantly trying to improve the living conditions for my tenants to live comfortable.
October 26, 1999, I became a born again. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ seem to have taken over my life. God is continuously using me in the ways know one could imagine. I am also strong member of my Church, and is always volunteering my services trying to help another person. I am a well educated and a Christian guided person who has really put God first in my life. By the way!! I am also married to a beautiful lady, her name is Veronica. We also have eight great children together. Also three grandchildren.
