Music
OH gosh....
I like a little bit of everything. It could be Phantom of the Opera one day, Keith Urban the next....then maybe some Radiohead....or Journey (the good stuff....with Steve Perry)...or maybe if I'm mellow...I might listen to Norah Jones...it's just whatever I'm in the mood for. After being on the radio for several years...I've acquired a love for many genres of music :-)
Movies
The Sweetest Thing, Old School, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Harold and Kumar, 9 1/2 Weeks, Good Luck Chuck, Little Miss Sunshine, Dan in Real Life, Say Anything, Tropic Thunder (I'm a lead farmer....")...and many more!
Television
The Office, Desperate Housewives, Weeds, Californication, Grey's Anatomy, South Park
Books
1. The Power of Now

I really love writing. I'm not saying I'm great at it....but I do enjoy it.
Many days you can find me in my home office listening to music and writing away.
For some reason...writing music helps me focus on writing. Must be a left/right brain thing.
I've got two great kids. My son Ryan is about to turn 14! I cannot believe it.
Katie will be 8 soon - and she's my little mini-me!
What would my life be without my kids?? Not much.
Of course...I have to mention my husband because he is the most wonderful guy. He is my best friend.
We're enjoying life in the mountains of western NC. We live in a little Mayberry-like town called Weaverville. Well...it used to be like Mayberry until all the freakin tourists started moving here and ruining it. Now they are building on every square inch and it sucks. Do we really need more PATIO HOMES????
Anyway...I forgot to mention our lovable dog. She's part of the family too!! She's a 4 year old silver lab named Graycie.
We'd like to add a kitten or two some day! Hopefully soon! Our other two cats (Phoebe and Callie) passed away about 2 years ago. They were both very old 14 and 16. I miss my kitties!
So that's the scoop on me for now.
Glad you stopped by!
Who I'd like to meet: Jewel, Rob Thomas, the entire cast of The Office!
Gosh...
There are so many people...where do you start?
I'm hoping I can strum up enough business at work so that I can stay current with order requirements. Not sure if I'll be able to do many parties either. I just spend so much ordering that I figured it was worth a try! :)
We're pretty excited! It's such a HUGE accomplishment for him. I called his physical therapist to tell her. She said he is so determined. She didn't think he was quite ready but he wanted it so bad. It's so cool to see him so proud of himself. It's been a long time coming...
Hey friend! So what is this Mobsters thing about? I'm clueless about some of this stuff. So when am I going to see you? I can't believe you still haven't met my kids. :) We went by the office to see Carole the other day. She is still surprised they lived, much less did as great as they did. They're so much fun. How are things?!
Ours didn't. They were already in their beds. My neighbors across the street- their dogs did have a fit. And buddy it made the bears mad! It was a mama with 3 cubs. I thought I had a cat in my yard messing with stuff. I put on the light and opened the front door- only to see a bear. I grabbed the camera as Charlie looked out. He wouldn't let me out- he said Mama was mad. It was a BIG mama bear and 3 cubs. She ran them across the street into our neighbors tree- but she did come back to our yard when she got down. We watched them for an hour! I have an awesome picture I took last year of one in mom and dad's back yard. These were about 6 feet from me. :)
Hey! Just wanted to wish you a happy happy happy birthday! I almost forgot! (Elliott reminded me) He knows more about myspace than I do! Mob game? We'll have to figure it out. Hugs! K
Is chilling today. Company was just here from Indiana. Time to recuperate and get the house organized again for the new Realtor coming tomorrow. Please let this one be able to sell the house!!!
My sisters both live there already. Allison & Michael are in Longview, and Eleanor is in Dallas. My brother wants to move back and start his own practice. He loves it there and has already told my cousin he works with that he will be working towards that. Not sure if the rest of the family knows as of yet. If everyone else is out there, including that new grandbaby, I wonder if my folks won't move- although they spent all they had in savings to finish the basement. Charlie is open to moving- but it would be awhile before that happens. We're not just going to up and move because they did. I love it here! And our life is here right now... jobs, his family. He would have to start over if we move- but he is willing to do that. We'll see...
Hey, do you know anyone that might have a princess toddler bed they want to get rid of?! We're not quite ready for that yet- but will be before you know it. :)
I'm so excited about seeing everyone. It's going to be a full house though! :) They get in tomorrow night and will be here for 8 days. Should be loads of fun. I just wish my brother could be here from Florida too. He's looking at moving to Texas in a year or so- so my whole family will be there when that happens. Wonder what the folks will do when that happens. I hope you get to see your family soon. I love mine, and so enjoy our times together. Well my friend, hope to see you soon!
We're good. We did- we went to Florida the middle of May for 9 days. We were glad we had something to do other than the beach- the babies were not impressed! :) I have to go back tomorrow am when I get off. My son needs a chiropractor bad! He needs to be adjusted so Mom and I will head down after I get off in the morning- or after we get the babies up and fed if I get to stay home on call tonight. Here's hoping... I'm tired! :) I worked 7-3 last night. How are things with ya'll?!
