’after 3 years of writing, recording, more writing, more recording, fighting with our label, making up with our label, and fighting with them again, our new record is finally done and is coming out this tuesday march 25th. what should normally be cause for celebration is really a weird thing for us. as some of you may know we pretty much stopped being a band over this past year and haven’t been playing shows, updating our sites or any of the other things we used to do. We had thought of officially breaking up last year but due to contractual obligations with our label that wasn’t a viable option. We’re uncertain of what the future holds for us as a band and we can’t promise we’ll be touring anytime soon, just about the only thing we know for sure is that our new album is coming out on tuesday.
the record is called Death By Envy and despite the way things have ended up for us, it’s a record we’re really proud of. it’s a different record for us, and we think that those of you that bought our first album with be a little surprised. At times, this album is the sound of us falling apart and at other times it us thinking maybe things will turn around. anyway, for what it’s worth we thought we’d let you all know it was coming out. if you buy it, we hope you like it, if you steal it, we hope you like it too, but we hope you feel guilty !’
