Mongrels Of Passion is a fierce band that spans the gamut of rock music, meshing the passion of protest, and the heart and soul of love songs with lament. And sometimes a sardonic, tongue-in-cheek perverted look at our lives.
Long-time Gaze collaborator, mongrel Rob Grosser, has provided percussion on most songs.
TIM GAZE
Gaze is one of the nation’s most respected guitar players, having played with the likes of Australian music pioneers Tamam Shud, Rose Tattoo, Jon Lord, Jimmy Barnes, Ariel, Gyan and many other pivotal groups and artists.
His guitar playing is legendary, and he has an ongoing independent recording career with various blues projects.
VINCE LOVEGROVE
Lovegrove has come full circle. In the sixties, he shared vocal duties with Bon Scott (AC/DC) in pop group The Valentines before going on to manage the early career of Cold Chisel and other pivotal Australian groups. He managed rock sensations Divinyls and paved the way for them to reach the top of the US charts.
