I am influenced by many different styles of music
I'm very diverse when it comes.......Gosh I don't even know where to start...... Michael Jackson, I can say I'm loving some John Mayor right now, Prince is my man, he's my number 1, I get everything about him, he's an alien just like me lol! Robin Thick is off the hook, I'm really getting into Corinne Baily Rae. Stan Getz, Sting, Stevie Wonder (of course) Mariah, Pink, Eveonessance, Tamia has a beautiful angelic voice that should be out their more then it is. Kelis another alien, Alicia Keys, Tevin Campbell, where is he, that voice is magical, Michael Jackson, all the Jacksons, I love many Jazz artist including Donald Bird, Grover Washington,Pete Balasco, Steely Dan, there are a lot, I grew up on Jazz, Blue Note! When I was little my grandfather and my six uncles drove me nuts but now I'm so glad I know it! My mom was quite diverse so I heard everything but I'll always remember being afraid of the Jimmy Hendrix music, my uncle locked me into a room and played it to torment me once I screamed don't ask, cause I have no idea but, I like his music now I also like ACDC, Queen, Pink Floyd, Blondie, Led Zeplin, Pat Benetar, Hed Pe, Incubus, Audio Slave, Def Tones, Lincon Park, Rage Against the Machine, Velvet Revolver, Nine Inch Nails, Godsmack, System Of a Down. All old school. Kraftwork, Soul Sonic Force, Lisa,Lisa & the Cult Jam, Switch, DeBarge, Atlantic Star, Midnight Star, The Time, B 52s, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet. Old Hip Hop, Jungle Brothers, Krs1, Ice T, MC Lyte, N.W.A. Egyptian Lover. LL. New School rap, T.I., Game, Lil Jon, 50, Dre, Em, Etc. Clark Sisters CC Winans, Fred Hammond etc. My all time favorite is Dancehall & Reggae. I can't name them all, there are very many for my ever changing mood.

I'm on your page listening to the songs from the MJ Memorial. It's surprising how I can cry so much of someone I DIDN'T even know! Still seems like a bad dream to me...
Hey Monique, I just got through listening to "Never Dreamed You'd Leave in the Summer", "Smile", and "Gone Too Soon" from your player. I had stop to listening, tears started flowing. I don't know how any of those performers were able to sing yesterday at Michaels memorial, I would have been a mess. I still can't believe that such a talented man is really gone. It's all so sad.

Same here girl. I still can't believe it but after seeing Janet at the BET Awards I had no choice but to accept that this is real. I think the music industry is officially gone.
And what makes me upset is that people in the industry right now are trying to pick who is MJ's successor. Are they serious? Nobody can touch MJ there is no successor and never will be.
Girl! Weren't we just talking about people being original and creating their own and now the GREATEST is gone! I am still hurt, why are all the good ones living us? Who do we have left? Anyhoo I hope all is well with you.
