Cory Thomas is a cartoonist, grad student and bikini mud wrestler from Washington, DC. He spent his deformative years in San Fernando, Trinidad, a small island nation famous for its giant, laser-toting robots and the Annual World Championships of Monkey Kickboxing. As an infant, his artistic abilities began to manifest themselves through his majestic stick figures and exquisite scribbling.

Substituting comic books for friends, he developed an interest in art and cartooning. This was the beginning of his career in illustration. He quickly became one of the preeminent six-year-olds in his field with the introduction of his ground-breaking 'Comet Cat' comic series that could be found on crumpled notebook paper in garbage cans everywhere.

In 1998, Cory folded himself into a crate of used tires and stowed away to the United States , where he took up a full academic scholarship at Howard University. Despite his passion for modern dance, he majored in Mechanical Engineering. He, nevertheless, wore a leotard to every class. In 2002, he graduated magna cum laude, cementing his prominent position at the front of the nerd bus.

Later that year, Cory endured a well-publicized and short-lived marriage to J-Lo. The tempestuous six-month union came to a calamitous end when he discovered her clandestine love affair with Lou Gossett Jr.

In 2003, he returned to Howard's clutches to acquire his master's degree. That year, he became full-time illustrator and friendly ghost at the Hilltop, Howard University's newspaper, ranked number one in the country by the Princeton review. It was there that he presented the earliest versions of his comic strip 'Watch Your Head' to absolutely no acclaim whatsoever. He is now working to inspire that apathy in readers worldwide as his strip is syndicated to newspapers nationwide. Watch for the hook.
