Monkeysuit is run by music lovers for music loving people and our aim is to present you with your new favourite bands.
Since we began 3 years ago our following has been steadily growing due to, we believe, people seeing us as promoters who care about what the musicians do, seeking out open minded individuals, consistently booking quality acts and always striving to make each event better than the last.
Our reputation and events have become synonymous with providing people with a chance to spend an evening listening to cutting edge music from a range of emerging local and nationally acclaimed bands.

We've promoted at various venues including:
Oakford Social Club (Reading), the Lock Tavern (Camden), RoTa at Notting Hill arts club (Notting Hill), the Jericho Tavern (Oxford), South Street arts centre (Reading), the Good Ship (Kilburn), the Firestation (Windsor) and the Rest Is Noise (Brixton)
We don't book filler. Even if you haven't heard of the band(s) we promote or perhaps they're not your usual cup of tea we believe when you watch a group we've picked you'll recognise that ethereal 'something' that only a talented act can create.
If you make your own music within a band or you're a musician and are interested in tasting the Monkeysuit experience for yourself please contact us and we will endeavour to reply asap. Feel free to ask any of our previous performers what they think of us, we're confident they'll say good things.
