Monocle is the brainchild of Danny Patterson and Christina Chatfield, born after the two met in 2004 while attending music school in Boston.
In 2007, the duo relocated to San Francisco, taking the city by storm with their otherworldly hardware-driven live sets. Monocle raises eyebrows for continuing to play new unique sets with each appearance, quickly building a following among Bay Area techno fans. Since their arrival in SF, they have been invited to play the city's biggest techno parties, including appearances at [KONTROL], the legendary com venue, and Mighty where they've performed alongside Cassy, Matthew Dear, and Michael Mayer to name a few.
Monocle's productions expose listeners to a diverse spectrum of beats, ranging anywhere from dark alien soundscapes to thoughtful analogue melodies with a groove. Stay tuned for more to come from this dynamic duo.
