About me: No one knows of what happened to the Ghastley family home. Some children claimed they saw it burn down; others declare it disappeared after a dark and gloomy night. There is, however, one thing everyone agrees upon: it should not be entered.
Every autumn, as the leaves begin to turn and the weather begins to chill, the Ghastley family home rises from the ashes where it once stood to assert its position in the neighborhood. Rumor has it that the Ghastley family had been cursed since emigrating from the English Moors more than 300 years ago. When they took residence in the Manor, they were unaware of the tragedy that would soon fall upon them. What happened on that fateful day is still debated upon, but many attempt to solve the mystery by entering Monster Manor when it opens its doors.
New guests must face ghostly apparitions and gruesome creatures built on nightmares before they are again allowed to escape. Many a mortal has stepped into Monster Manor since it started appearing again, but not everyone had come out unscathed. Of course, there are the few brave souls willing to risk their lives by entering the Manor, but not even they can forget that the Ghastleys always have ROOM FOR ONE MORE.

Monster Manor has been nominated as Best Family Attractions ... the only one of the San Diego's Haunted House to do so, now it's up to you so that we can win!!!
Just throwing this out there to all the Monster Manor volunteers. No need to blow this out of proportion or assume that this is a done deal. I'm just taking a survey. If the Manor was to move away from Mira Mesa, who would still participate? I know you'd need to know where, but that's why I'm just asking.
It's a NEW year. If you have an idea for a room that you'd like to see, we will be accepting ideas in the next couple of months. This doesn't mean you are guaranteed a room, but all ideas will go up for a vote. You must also be able to build the room and effects that you come up with.
The meeting on May 1 is for "management" positions. I will post a list of previous positions, soon. If there is something you would like to do, and can't make it to the meeting, send me an e-mail. We will try to make it happen, but no guarantees. If you ARE interested, be prepared to take responsibility and give whole heartedly. Certain positions are not so cut and dry with a simple explanation. We will try to make sure that nobody goes in blindly. Please pass this along to anyone you know that's not on THE LIST, that is VERY interested in joing the management team (over 16 yrs old please)
