It looks like we should be showing some of the Monster Mash short films at the Why? music event at the Proud Galleries in the Old Horse Hospital in Camden Stables Market. The films will be shown between the bands in the main room from late afternoon until close. I'll post more info as I get it, but the event is free!
We are also hoping to take some of the pieces and films from the show to the Dragonfly Festival in Sweden over the August bank holiday weekend. Again more info as I get it, but for more info on the festival go to www.dragonflyfestival.org
MONSTER MASH A HUGE SUCCESS!!
Wow! What a fantastic weekend. A massive thank you to everyone who came down to the show, those who contributed art and to all those who helped set it all up.
In the end we had nearly 100 pieces of work from 34 artists and 9 short films in the show. We had over 600 visitors over the 2 days and a lot of great feedback in the guest book. We also had a film crew from film24 come down to do a 10 minute piece about the event. I'll keep you posted when I hear more about when it will be aired.
I will be adding to the slideshow of photos of the art work, event and the industry party on the Saturday night as soon as I get more.
If you had your photograph taken by "ic" the Hexapod robot, he has uploaded all the photographs onto his website. If you have a look at the site you can also see who else came to the show and caught his eye
If you took any photographs at the event please can you forward any that you like to me here and i'll add them to the gallery. It would be great to see everyone elses pictures from the event.
Thanks again for supporting The Monster Mash
