Someone once told me that they were lonely, eventhough they were surround by people they loved and loved them. Being lonely isn't being alone. It's not being able to be alone with yourself. Know one can take away loneliness, they can suppress it, become a temporary void, but they can't get rid of it completely. Only the lonely can do that for themselves. I believe that people need to learn how to love themselves, to spend time with themselves and to become happy with themselves. People pleasing and keeping up with the Jones can get you in trouble and in debt. Keep up with you. Please you. Learn to do little things that are pleasurable to you, that lift and feed your spirit. Learn yourself and how incredible you are and how blessed you are to have you. What would you do, without you? Think about it. Then, take yourself to dinner, draw a romantic bath and have an extraordinary time entertaining you. You are the perfect date, so date yourself.
